Standard carbon layer resistance with axial rheophores for PTH (Pin to Hole) installations. Carbon film resistors are suitable for general electronic and electrotechnical applications. They are composed of a ceramic support coated with charcoal using specific high-temperature production processes. The desired resistive value is obtained by the controlled removal of part of the coating deposited previously, creating a “spiral” path along the resistor body. This type of resistor is therefore not recommended for high-frequency applications for which it is advisable to use specific anti-inductive resistors

The resistor body is covered with epoxy resin that preserves its electrical and mechanical characteristics.
