Overview GBX2000 is a galvanic isolation barrier specially selected for use between a zone of conventional Ex i detectors and an addressed zone module.

Application
Each GBX2000 (4 terminals) works as a “DC isolator” with reverse polarity protection. The input and output are galvanically isolated from each other.
It is designed for connecting fire detectors, smoke detectors, temperature sensors, etc.
The detector's wide current range and greater accuracy allow the differentiation between normal operation, fire alarm, line opening and short circuit in the safe area.
