100V/LINE interface

The ACLTR1 module allows audio signals to be interfaced using a galvanic separation transformer. The audio input of the card can be connected either to balanced mono line signals 0 dB, 4 Ohm, constant voltage (100 V) or to unbalanced L+R line signals (typical sound sources). The balanced line-level output can be direct or attenuated by a special trimmer. If necessary, a passive filter can be inserted to eliminate the test signal (typically 20 kHz) used in voice evacuation systems. It is therefore useful for long-distance connection of unbalanced sources or for converting a signal taken from the speaker line into a 0 dB line signal. The ACLTR1 cards can be installed remotely inside electrical junction boxes; the ACLTR1-DIN model, on the other hand, is equipped with a plastic box that allows a practical and quick installation on standard DIN guides.
