The TL-R1620Sep-RP 12Gb/s SAS expansion unit is designed to expand the storage space of the QTS or QuTS hero NAS. You can chain up to sixteen expansion bays using high-speed mini SAS HD cables to support 4.6 PB raw capacity, ideal for storaging/backing up virtualization applications, surveillance recordings, large data or multimedia content. Equipped with Broadcom® SAS DataBolt™ bandwidth optimization technology, the TL-R1620Sep-RP consolidates the 6Gb/s infrastructure into 12Gb/s. With four mini SAS HD SFF-8644 Wide ports, the TL-R1620Sep-RP offers transfer speeds of up to 192Gbps when connected to a single host. When connected to a QTS/QuTS hero NAS that supports multi-path addressing, the TL-R1620Sep-RP can achieve smooth data transmission and continuous system operations.
