General information
BG-21 is a point flame detector for the detection of fires that involve the combustion of materials that contain carbon.
The detector has a high degree of IP protection, making it suitable for the toughest environments.
The detector can be used with most conventional fire alarm panels that generate the alarm based on the principle of current absorption. An alarm resistor must be inserted between terminals 3 and 4. The value of the alarm resistance can be sized for the correct alarm current depending on the fire detection unit used.
The sensitivity class of the detector can be configured according to table 1.
Advanced signal processing and DYFI+ intelligence ensure that the flame detector has high immunity to any external alarm source while maintaining rapid detection of real fires.
