The TR40B-HF speaker consists of a folded horn powered by a cone speaker (mid-woofer) and a piezoelectric unit (tweeter) coupled to a constant directivity horn. A cross-over filter separates the frequencies intended for the two speakers. This particular configuration provides an almost constant and controlled coverage of the audio spectrum, guaranteeing the speaker a high efficiency, typical of a trumpet speaker, and at the same time an extended frequency response. The input transformer for connecting to constant voltage lines is equipped with sockets for adjusting the power supplied at the output.
