Class D amplifiers, built using modern GaN (gallium nitride or gallium nitride) technology, which allows obtaining high performance in terms of efficiency and space reduction. The main innovation related to the use of this cutting-edge technology in the field of PA audio applications is the extreme speed and the ability to work with high voltages that characterize these new cascode devices; this makes it possible to design amplifiers capable of operating at 300 volts with frequencies of 400 kHz and at the same time - despite extreme operating conditions - to obtain better performance than those of equivalent silicon components, which, however, have the limit of working with lower voltages. With these devices, it is also possible to have a 100-volt output line without a transformer with a single amplifier (not two bridge amplifiers, as is the case with silicon devices). The PMG1000-V amplifiers allow the correct functioning test and the verification of the integrity of the speaker line; they are equipped with a double output circuit with separate control (A and B), for the construction of redundant line systems ; if a short circuit is detected in one of the two outputs, this line is automatically disconnected to allow the other to function smoothly. Connected directly to the CR8506-V controller via a shielded CAT5 cable, they allow you to create areas of high power. Inside the device there are 4 amplifiers capable of delivering 250 W each.

The PMG1000-V are able to offer a large number of diagnostic functions, including: line impedance measurements; amplifier diagnostics; verification and isolation of short-circuit speaker lines; ground insulation testing (GND FAULT); volume control; input selection; possibility of inserting the LOW CUT filter on each of the four internal amplifiers;
