THERMOSTICK VSP-981-W VESDA-E VEA 4 mm standard sample point

The VESDA-E VEA detector series combines VESDA reliability and early smoke detection with timely addressability and a variety of signaling options that truly exceed traditional spot detectors. VEA detectors use patented air sampling points and multiple microbore air sampling tubes with three alarm sensitivity settings. Each patented VEA sampling point and microbore tube is fully supervised by the detector. End-to-end supervision combined with system integrity monitoring reduces VEA system service and maintenance time by 90% compared to typical spot detection solutions. VEA sampling points are available in two different types: Standard sample points The standard sample points are designed for a ceiling with a vacuum where the Microbore tubes are passed into a vacuum and the sample points are mounted in the ceiling. The sample points can be screwed directly to the ceiling or mounted using a holder supplied as standard. Standard sample points are available in black or white with 4 mm or 6 mm inputs to fit the appropriate microbore tubes. The inlet is equipped with a swivel joint to allow flexible orientation of the tube. Standard sample points allow blind mounting, eliminating any need to access empty ceiling space once installed and passed through the ceiling. Surface-mount sampling points Surface-mount sample points are designed for use where access to empty ceiling space is limited. Microbore tubes run along the ceiling, visible in the protected area. These sample points are screwed directly to the ceiling. Surface-mount sample points are available in black or white with 4 mm or 6 mm inputs to fit the appropriate microbore tubes.
