The multi-zone system is particularly suitable for large and small installations, where devices with particular characteristics of reliability, versatility and ease of use are needed. The simplicity of connection (CAT5) between the various control units and bases, even if far from each other, makes the sound of complex buildings effective and economical, allowing the use of both centralized and local controls. Both the master unit (P8136) and the slave unit (P8236) allow the management of up to 6 zones with the possibility of activating/deactivating music for each zone using special front switches. The masters and salves can be used to switch both line signals (one amplifier per zone) and power signals (amplifier output, 100 V line). In the latter case, it is possible to connect two amplifiers (one for music and one for speech, two-channel system) or a single voice/music amplifier (one-channel system). To increase the managed power, the units are designed to connect 2 voice amplifiers (3 zones each) and two for music. Depending on the size and configuration of the audio system, it is possible to use the master and/or slave units individually or connected to each other. The maximum system configuration involves the use of 6 master control units connected with 30 slaves (5 for each master), thus managing up to 216 voice/music broadcasting zones; up to 16 PMB106-G and/or PMB112-G microphone consoles can be connected to each unit. Unlike the slave unit, in the P8136 there are 4 inputs for auxiliary sound sources with selector and level adjustment, 2 line inputs with automatic priority activation (VOX) and 4 RJ45 inputs for the PMB106-G and/or PMB112-G call stations to be configured as a 'master' and able to control all areas of the system. The P8136 is designed for inserting the optional ACMG8136 card, necessary for the automatic and/or manual dissemination of pre-recorded messages. ACIO8136 expansion cards equipped with a balanced line input and 6+6 programmable input/output contacts can be connected to the same lines as the microphone stations ('local' or 'master'). The ACIO8136 cards can be used to send pre-recorded messages and/or the incoming audio signal in the various areas of the system.
