The device allows the selection, using a microphone base, of up to 6 zones. It is possible to control both line signals (before the amplifier) and power signals (amplifier outputs). The P8036 is designed for connecting to two amplifiers (one for music and one for speech); in this way it is possible to have the contemporaneity of music in areas not interested in the call. In any case, it is possible to configure it for operation with a single amplifier dedicated to both voice and music (zone calls will interrupt any music on all zones). The zones will be selected by means of double exchange relays, one of which will be used for the “override” function (cancellation of any attenuators present on the speaker line, connection to three wires). There must be 4 inputs for any auxiliary sound sources with selector and level adjustment from the front panel. Six switches on the front panel will allow you to activate/deactivate music in the various areas. On the rear panel, it is possible to connect the microphone stations and any emergency sound source (message generator or alarm tones) with automatic priority. A selector allows you to program the priority of the emergency entry to be higher or lower than that of the basic call. On the front panel, six bright LEDs will indicate the status of the current call.
