The DB992IVAS acoustic alarm base is a multifunctional device consisting of a mounting base for 990 series fire detectors, a siren, a light alarm and a short circuit isolator. It is used to provide an audible and visual warning of a fire alarm in an enclosed area. The DB992IVAS can be used with a mounted detector or with a cap to function as a stand-alone alarm device.
