ACU-220 uses the 868 MHz radio band, in which 4 channels have been assigned. Communication between the components of the ABAX 2 system is encrypted (AES standard) and bidirectional, all transmissions are recognized. The controller works with INTEGRA and VERSA series alarm control panels (connection via communication bus), making it possible to expand the alarm system by adding wireless devices. It can also interact with any other alarm control panel, automation controller (when using the module's programmable inputs and outputs) or work in standalone mode.

ACU-220 meets the requirements of EN 50131 Grade 2.

An advantage of the controller is its excellent transmission range, which can reach up to 2000 m in free field, depending on the device paired with the controller and the working conditions. Such good communication parameters are achieved thanks to the use of a modern radio system and diversity of antennas. Depending on the level of the radio signal received, the ACU-220 automatically selects the optimal antenna to use to receive the broadcast.

ABAX 2 Soft is PC software designed to configure the ABAX 2 wireless system. It is also used for real-time diagnostics. When combined with the INTEGRA and VERSA series alarm control panels, the DLOADX program or a keypad is used for configuration.
