The SmartLoop platform offers control panels from 1 to 8 loops that can be connected to each other in a network up to a system of 30 control units. If you consider that each control unit can manage up to 8 loops and that each loop can manage up to 240 devices, you realize the vastness of installation solutions offered by the SmartLoop system. The SmartLoop series has been designed to provide excellent performance combined with simple operation and trouble-free installation processes, with the aim of helping installation companies in the process of optimizing resources and time. These features have been implemented through the use of a multiprocessor architecture with self-diagnostic functions coordinated by a 32-bit processor. This powerful hardware platform provides the processing resources necessary to guarantee the highest level of reliability, speed of response, ease of use, connectivity, scalability and versatility. The SmartLoop system bases its operation on the synergy of several cutting-edge technologies: OpenLoop loop technology, HORnet network technology, Emergency54 emergency management technology and Janus connectivity technology (see the Technologies section for details). SmartLoop offers 5 supervised alarm and fault outputs to ensure constant control of the operation of these outputs. The control unit is able to identify abnormal situations and diagnose them by offering a wide range of reports: alarm, early warning, fault, warning, exclusion, test, monitor. All signals can appear both on the LCD display and on the signal LEDs. In addition to the supervised outputs, the control panel also offers two alarm and fault relays and an additional output to signal the battery disconnection. To expand the number of inputs and outputs on board the control panel, it is possible to install the SmartLoop/Inout option, which adds 6 terminations to the control unit. Again, INIM offers a unique feature. In fact, each of the 6 added terminations is freely programmable as a supervised output, as a supervised input or as a zone for conventional sensors. In this way, the rigidities often found in the input/output cards are removed and the possibility of managing areas equipped with conventional sensors is provided. SmartLoop also provides an RS485 remote communication bus for connecting remote control panels (repeaters). Repeaters with LCD display (Smartletusee/LCD) or with LED (Smartletusee/LED) are available. In this way, it will be possible to obtain information, reports and interact with the control unit as if you were in front of it. On the RS485 bus it is possible to connect an external extinguishing control unit controlled through the bus itself. There are 2 different fire control unit models available (SmartLine020-2ext or SmartLine036-4ext). These extinguishing units are the conventional control units of the SmartLine series equipped with SmartletLoose/ONE extinguishing cards. Each SmartLoop control unit can also mount a telephone communication card with voice and digital alert functions. Front panel programming is simple and intuitive thanks to the use of a large LCD display and is further simplified and speeded up thanks to the ability of the control unit to manage the self-learning and self-direction of loop devices. The best way to program the system is, however, given by the SmartLeague software, which offers an easy-to-learn graphic interface and offers connectivity with the control unit via RS232, USB or Ethernet (if the SmartLAN card is present). The configuration of the system through the SmartLeague software is carried out simply by graphically “dragging” the components in configuration. The software also supports the installer in the sizing of the system. The simple installability of the components, the reduced complexity of the interface, the remote programming and diagnostic procedures ensure that the time spent on installation is reduced to a minimum. These combined with the characteristics of scalability, modularity, flexibility and versatility make the SmartLoop control panel series the ideal solution for various market segments: from medium-sized commercial applications to large plants such as hospitals, shopping centers and airports.
