It can house any smoke detector (analog or conventional) inside, the mounting base of the detector must be fixed inside it with 2 screws (supplied), a practical terminal block facilitates and simplifies the wiring. It makes it possible to detect the presence of smoke by continuously sampling the air flow inside heating and ventilation ducts in industrial or commercial facilities. Based on the Venturi principle, it must be combined with a sampling tube of appropriate length, the device works with air flows with speeds between 0.5 m/s and 20 m/s.
