Fire detection control unit with 4 zones expandable to 20. The new conventional control unit is modular, capable of managing from a minimum of 4 zones (basic configuration) to a maximum of 20 (using optional ML420 modules) on which it is possible to connect up to 512 devices. Each zone can manage up to 32 points or conventional devices, while still respecting the constraint of the maximum number of 512 devices that can be managed in total by the control panel. Each zone is associated with a relay which is activated when the zone goes into an alarm condition. The control unit also has the following outputs and relays: an alarm output, a siren output, a fault output, a programmable output to activate in the event of a power failure or exclusions, a supervised siren output. Furthermore, it is possible to take advantage of four additional supervised siren outputs, available on the optional MR420 module; each of these outputs can be associated independently of the others with one or more zones.
