The SMART3G-D3 detector is suitable for installation in industrial areas and ATEX zones; it can be installed in zone 2 and, if equipped with the dust adapter, in zone 22. The sensitive element is housed in the explosion-proof head with a diameter of 47.5 mm. For the detection of flammable substances, refrigerant gases and carbon dioxide, the infrared sensor is used, which is not susceptible to poisoning and has high selectivity. The detector has a 12-24 Vdc power supply, an output signal of 4-20 mA and three relays. RS485 serial communication can be added as an option. The case is made of aluminum with a total size of 106 x 160 x 81 mm, an M20 cable gland is mounted on the upper side. The SMART3G-D3 features a 7-segment display to view real-time concentration and Hall effect sensors for non-intrusive calibration in the field.
