EST-PA amplifiers are designed for perfect integration with EDWARDS solutions. Thanks to their flexibility, they can also be used for any other sound diffusion and voice evacuation application. These amplifiers have been developed to meet the specific requirements of EN 54-16 for safety installations.
EST-PAXXXXB is a family of class-D amplifiers with 100V and 50V outputs, with a size of 2U and suitable for mounting in a 19" rack. The configurations include 8 audio channels (EST-PA8080B, EST-PA8160B), 4 audio channels (EST-PA4160B), 2 audio channels (EST-PA2650B high power) and 1 audio channel (EST-PA1650B).
The EST-PA8080B amplifier can deliver a power equal to 8 x 80 W, while EST-PA8160B and EST-PA2650B can provide 8 x 160 W and 2 x 650 W respectively. In bridge mode, the amplifier channels can be combined and can provide 4 x 160 W for the EST-PA8080B, 4 x 320 W for the EST-PA8160B and 1 x 1300 W for the EST-PA2650B. The amplifiers are powered at 48 VDC, this allows the connection to the backup power system with backup batteries so that operation is guaranteed during an emergency condition.
