EFXN524 JSB Conventional Thermal Detector The JSB range of conventional detectors has been specifically designed to work with JSB control panels. The FXN533 JSB optical detector is suitable for most applications and provides the fastest response to slow-burning or flameless fires that give rise to large visible smoke particles. The JSB FXN632 photothermal detector will respond quickly to fast and clean burning fires, while maintaining the advantage of optical detectors when detecting flameless fires. The thermal enhancement of this detector allows for a higher alarm threshold that provides greater rejection of false alarms. The detector will sound an alarm even at temperatures above 60ºC. The JSB FXN524 and FXN526 fixed heat detectors detect temperatures above 77ºC and 92ºC. The FXN525 rising rate temperature detector is used to detect rapid increases in temperature with a maximum threshold of 60ºC. These detectors are designed to be used in environments where environmental conditions could cause false alarms if smoke detection were to be used, such as where there is a high level of dust, fumes, vapor, or smoke under normal conditions.
