The EST-CU-11 (CU) control unit is a matrix mixer of input signals that are routed to 4 internal 100 V audio buses, to a 45-channel digital system bus or directly transmitted to the audio outputs in a unit. The EST-CU-11 is designed to work in small PA/VA systems or as an extension unit in more complex systems. This means that the CU can operate autonomously as a controller or be part of a complex system for which it is a remote expansion unit (distributed system) or function as an expansion unit (addition of additional fire zones and speaker lines in the same installation). The modular design of the CU and its flexibility allow equipment optimization and cost efficiency regardless of the size/number of structures, their location and connectivity. In the event of loss of connection with a master unit in a network of power plants, the EST-CU-11 is able to execute fire alarm scenarios independently thanks to the locally stored configuration. While connected to a system communication ring, EST-CU-11 can control amplifiers and power supply units, as well as receive alarm and digital signals; and then send them to other system devices. The EST-CU-11 control unit routes audio signals to the individual zones and controls their operation. Check the status of the speaker and amplifier lines. If a fault is detected, it transmits the signal to the system and automatically switches to the backup amplifier. The CU is equipped with an EST-CAudio-4/12 card that offers 4 line audio inputs and 12 audio outputs for external devices or for the amplifiers of the EST ENT VES system. The EST-CU-11LT control unit can be equipped with a touch screen LCD and a control module that allows easy access to the management and monitoring functions of the entire system, this configuration is included in the EST-CU-11LCD control unit
