The EELECTRON PB40A01DL2 product is a specialized control device for integration into building automation systems, in particular those that use the KNX protocol.

Technical characteristics

This device has compact dimensions, with plate-free device dimensions of 71x71x25 mm and 2-module frame dimensions of 92x92x11 mm, facilitating integration into different plant configurations.

Control Functionality

The device is configurable through the ETS® application program and supports communication with the KNX Data Secure protocol. It integrates a two-stage thermostat for the control of two distinct areas, with an integrated PI controller for controlling heating, cooling equipment, valves, 6-way valves and 2- and 4-pipe fan coils.

User Interface

• It has a capacitive bar with swipe function for implementing programmable KNX functions.
• It includes a freely configurable RGB LED bar for displaying states or other quantities available on the KNX bus.

Logic and Programming

The device has 32 logical blocks for creating simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, or complex expressions with conditional algebraic operators. It supports predefined algorithms such as proportional temperature and humidity controls or dew point calculation. In addition, it integrates “Virtual Pocket Logic” to manage programmable command and control functions.

Applications

The field of application is particularly suitable for managing hotel rooms, where it can be used in combination with magnetic sensors to manage on/off controls, dimmers, shutters and blinds.
