The DD1000 series motion detectors include UTC Fire & Security's exceptional patented range-gated radar technology, thus allowing the installer to precisely define the dividing line of the radar range, as the radar itself is used to measure the distance between the sensor and moving objects. As a result, the end user is free from any annoying alarm caused by movements outside the coverage range

Each DD1000 series detector has 4 radar range settings, selectable through dip switches, to allow you to adapt the coverage range according to the room where the motion detector should be installed.

The radar works at a frequency of 5.8GHz so it won't interfere with any WIFI network.
