The KNX presence sensor for large heights, code CB01B02ACC, is an innovative solution designed for ceiling mounting up to 16 meters. This device is ideal for applications in residential, hotel and commercial buildings, where lighting control and energy management are essential.

Key Features

The sensor uses a passive infrared sensor to detect the presence of people in the environment. It has 5 independently configurable channels, allowing different functions such as presence detection with or without lighting control and with automatic or semi-automatic detection.

Control Functionality

It includes a brightness sensor for controlling ambient lighting.
It includes a rear connector with 3 digital inputs that can be connected to potential-free buttons or switches for on/off, dimming, shutters or blinds, and for scenarios, sequences and step-by-step commands.
One of the digital inputs can be configured as analog for connecting NTC temperature probes, allowing temperature measurements to be sent to the bus or to manage a complete thermostat module with integrated PI controller for controlling heating and cooling equipment.

Logic and Programming

It has 12 logical blocks for creating simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, or complex expressions with algebraic and conditional operators.
It incorporates the “Virtual Pocket Logic” to manage accurate presence information, for example in hotel rooms, using a magnetic sensor installed on the door.
It allows you to enable the “Circadian Rhythm” logic to set brightness and color temperature based on predefined curves or the real position of the sun during the day.
