Description

Expansion module for 8 supervised inputs. 8 supervised outputs. 4 relay outputs. Installing the module only inside a standard 2X series control cabinet

General Information
The 2010-2-PIB peripheral interface module is used to expand the number of inputs and outputs available directly in a compatible analog addressed control unit. 2010-2-PIB is available in 4 versions that differ in the number of available inputs/outputs. 2010-2-PIB is the most complete range module and represents the most comprehensive solution complete for interfacing with other electronic devices. The module is designed for housing directly in the

control unit.

Functionality
The 2010-2-PIB peripheral interface module provides an additional 8 inputs and 8 supervised outputs as well as 4 relay outputs for a compatible fire detection unit. The module, powered directly from the control panel or through an external power supply, is able to provide a voltage of 24 VDC for each of the supervised outputs. Inputs and outputs (excluding relay inputs) are supervised for short circuit and open circuit conditions

.

Assembly and connection
The module can be installed directly on the front panel of a compatible fire detector in the format of a standard release 3 cabinet. There is no additional wiring for the connection. Removable clamps allow the connection of field devices. The direct connection of the module to an external power supply allows the system load to be distributed
