Functionality
The 2010-2-PIB peripheral interface module provides an additional 8 inputs and 8 supervised outputs as well as 4 relay outputs for a compatible fire detection unit. The module, powered directly from the control panel or through an external power supply, is able to provide a voltage of 24 VDC for each of the supervised outputs. Inputs and outputs (excluding relay inputs) are supervised for short circuit and open circuit conditions

Assembly and connection
The module can be installed directly on the front panel of a compatible fire detector in the format of a standard release 3 cabinet. There is no additional wiring for the connection.
