Functionality
The 2010-2-PIB-8I8O peripheral interface module provides an additional 8 inputs and 8 outputs for a compatible fire control unit. The module, powered directly from the control panel or through an external power supply, is able to provide a voltage of 24 VDC for each of the supervised outputs. Inputs and outputs are supervised for short circuit and open circuit conditions

Assembly and connection
The module can be installed directly on the front panel of a compatible fire detector in the format of a standard release 3 cabinet. There is no additional wiring for the connection.
