Low profile thermal/rapid-rate detector, complete with self-learning circuit and short-circuit isolator. Thermal rate heat detectors monitor the increase in temperature within the area in which they are installed. A microcontroller analyzes and compares the signal it receives from a precision NTC-type temperature sensor, activating the alarm if the temperature increase exceeds 5°C per minute.
