The FLR500 linear reflective smoke detector is a device aimed at FAP54 series digital control units (FAP541, FAP544EVO, FAP548EVO and FAP5416EVO). It is particularly suitable for applications in the tertiary sector and in particular environments, such as museums, historic buildings, etc. The detector contains both the transmission (Tx) and reception (Rx) sections of the infrared signal; its operating principle is based on the interaction between the smoke present in an environment generated by a fire principle and an infrared ray emitted and reflected by a special optical reflector.
