If IFMEXT function modules (a module for managing a shutdown channel) are housed in the control unit, it is mandatory to use one or more FPMEXT to display their status as separate indications from the display. Each FPMEXT module provides indications of 5 IFMEXT shutdown modules. It is installed in the front panel of the Previdia Max control panel and connects to the CAN DRIVE bar if housed in the upper slot, or to the FPM module, installed in the upper slot, when housed in the lower slot.
