The Inthesis IN485HIT001R000 gateway is designed to integrate Hitachi VRF and commercial air conditioning systems with BACnet MS/TP and Modbus RTU networks. This device allows full bidirectional communication between Hitachi systems and building automation networks.

Capacity and Functionality

The gateway can integrate one or more Hitachi air conditioning units and their associated elements. However, all connected units will operate as a single entity, preventing different commands from being sent to different units.

The gateway acts like a server device, accessing all the signals of the indoor air conditioning unit and storing the current state of each desired signal. It provides this data to the network when requested and sends the required commands to the indoor unit.

Assembly and Connection

The gateway can be mounted on a DIN rail, wall or inside some indoor air conditioning units. The assembly procedure involves inserting the upper clip of the gateway into the upper part of the DIN rail and then fixing the lower part.

Before making connections, be sure to disconnect all systems from the power supply and keep communications away from power and ground wires.

The dimensions of the gateway are 93 x 53 x 58 mm, making it compact and easy to integrate into various environments.
