Description
The input/output expansion board is designed to provide relay outputs and/or additional inputs when interfacing with other systems. The Input/Output expansion card is inserted into the APIC interface slot of each detector and cannot be used together with an APIC card. The input/output expansion board provides detector inputs that can be programmed for remote day/night mode switching, remote recovery or exclusion of ClassiFire, as well as power supply monitoring for power failures. ClassiFire Override is a particularly useful function that allows you to reduce the normal sensitivity of the detector by a reprogrammed percentage to avoid unwanted alarms resulting from a predictable event such as theatrical stage effects
