The EK-MC1-MD Ekinex® RS485 Modbus communication module is used for the collection and transmission on the RS485 line, using the Modbus RTU or ASCII protocol, of the values ​​measured by the single-phase and three-phase Ekinex® energy meters. Data transmission between the meter and the communication module occurs via the optical port supplied with the two devices. The RS485 parameters can be modified directly on the associated meter or by sending the appropriate Modbus protocol commands to the module. The device is designed for mounting on a 35 mm profile rail.
