The ITC4000 is a device for communication between operator and public through the safety glass of the door; microprocessor management allows high quality and flexible performance. This system stands out from other systems on the market for its hands-free “SPEECH-LISTEN HALF-DUPLEX” mode of operation, managed by a special algorithm inserted in the microprocessor that allows an excellent switching speed between the operating channel and the public channel, avoiding unpleasant communication interruptions or unwanted trigger effects (Larsen effect) while maintaining a more natural conversation. The operator's position inside consists of a solid and robust ABS structure, with a careful design and small dimensions (less than half of an A4 sheet, a feature that allows it to be pleasant and easy to position in doors equipped with other electronic devices such as PCs, video terminals, etc.). It is equipped with a dynamic microphone with a flexible rod with a length of 40 cm and an LED to indicate the on/off status. The length of the stem and the excellent sensitivity of the microphone capsule allow conversation with a natural tone and volume of voice even at not very close distances, a fundamental feature in applications where the operator must be able to move freely to carry out cash operations or to enter data on a video terminal. The station is completed by an integrated listening speaker and the keys for turning on, off and/or adjusting volume levels on the operator side and on the public side. The intercom station, in addition to the “HALF-DUPLEX SPEAK-LISTEN” function, has a STAND-BY function that allows the deactivation of the station after a certain period of inactivity with the possibility of automatic or manual reactivation. On the back of the operator station, it is possible to make all the connections related to the power supply, the microphone and the public-side speaker. In addition, always on the back, you can make the various configuration adjustments related to the “HALF-DUPLEX” function. The ITC4000 system, for the audience-side listening function, is completed by the C401-B speaker made of aluminum, extremely robust and also suitable for anti-vandal applications (railway and metro stations, night pharmacies).
