EELECTRON IO42E01KNX MULTIFUNCTION RECESSED MODULE 4 IN/2 OUT, BLE

The IO42E01KNX module by Eelectron is an input and output interface device designed for integration into home automation and building automation systems that use the KNX Data Secure protocol. This module can be configured using the ETS® software.

Characteristics of the Inputs

The IO42E01KNX module has four different inputs:

• 2 digital inputs, which can be connected to clean contacts and interface sensors, traditional buttons, etc. These inputs are configurable for sending on/off commands on the bus, for dimmers or shutters, scenarios and sending sequences of 3 telegrams.
• 1 digital/analog input, usable to manage NTC temperature probes and send temperature measurements on the bus.
• 1 digital/analog/smart sensor input, configurable to connect plug-in sensors such as the SM03E01ACC (temperature and CO2 sensor) and the SM03E02ACC (temperature and VOC sensor for measuring Indoor Air Quality).

Characteristics of the Outputs

The two outputs of the module can be configured in different ways:

• Control of general loads (2 independent channels).
• Control of roller shutters, in a paired mode (1 channel consisting of both relays).
• Control of a servomotor, in a paired mode.
• Control with logical interlock.

Control and Logic Functionality

The module integrates 12 logical blocks that allow you to create simple expressions with logical or threshold operators, as well as complex expressions with algebraic and conditional operators. Predefined algorithms are available for proportional temperature and humidity controls, dew point calculation, and others.

Virtual Pocket Logic

The device includes the “Virtual Pocket Logic”, which is particularly useful in hotel applications. Using a magnetic sensor installed on the door and connected to a digital input, it is possible to manage accurate presence information and detect the presence of people in the room with multiple dedicated sensors.

Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology

The IO42E01KNX module integrates an antenna with BEACON BLE function, compatible with iBeacon® and Eddystone®. This technology allows you to set the transmission frequency and signal strength, sending messages to mobile devices equipped with an appropriate app.
