The IPSBA02KNX device is also a KNX bus node, equipped with its own application program. It has 48 logical blocks for creating simple or complex logical expressions, using logical, threshold or conditional algebraic operators. In addition, predefined algorithms are available for proportional temperature and humidity controls, or for calculating the dew point.

Virtual Pocket Logic and Presence Control

The “Virtual Pocket Logic” allows you to accurately manage presence information in environments such as hotel rooms, using magnetic sensors and other dedicated sensors. This function can infer the presence of people in the room and differentiate various behaviors.

Online-offline control

The device includes the “Online-offline” control logic, which monitors up to 128 KNX TP devices in the subnet connected to the power supply, notifying the backbone if one of these goes into “Offline” status.

Installation and Flexibility

By enabling the ETS 'Other power supplies on the BUS line' parameter, it is possible to install two devices on the same bus line, at a minimum distance of 200 meters. This flexibility makes the device suitable for a wide range of applications.
