<p/the KNX DALI Gateway EELECTRON IC00P02DAL forms the interface between a KNX installation and a DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) digital lighting system. This device allows the switching and dimerization of up to 64 luminaries with a DALI operation device, such as an electronic ballast.

• Up to 6 different types of DALI Gateway addressing, which allow individual and group-oriented address control of DALI lights through KNX telegrams.

Power supply and assembly

The DALI Gateway is fully powered through the network connection and provides the DALI system voltage (typically 16 V DC). The device is designed for mounting on DIN rails.

Color Temperature Control

The KNX DALI Gateway supports the control of DALI operating devices of the “Color Control” type (DALI Device Type 8) in the specific version “Tunable White (TW)”. This makes it possible to control the color temperature of a lamp through suitable DALI operating devices and luminaires. The Gateway allows color temperature control through relative or absolute darkening, as well as through scenes and effects. The color temperature control is largely independent of the brightness control and the luminaire used.
