The ARCUS-EDS 60201-75124525 water meter, called KNX NZR Modularis WZW-M, is a specialized device for the remote measurement and monitoring of hot water consumption.

Construction and Protection

The meter is housed in a reinforced plastic enclosure with impact-resistant glass blades, equipped with gaskets that guarantee an IP54/65 protection class. The dimensions of the counter are 72 x 64 x 40 mm.

Operation

The device does not require an auxiliary power supply, since it is powered directly from the KNX bus voltage (21.. 32 VDC) with a power consumption of about 240 mW at 24 VDC. The operating temperature ranges from -20°C to +55°C, while the storage temperature ranges from -20°C to +85°C.

Measurement functions

The meter is equipped with an integrated pulse module, approved, sealed and calibrated. It allows remote reading and monitoring of water consumption data. You can configure two rates with separate scales and consumption levels, as well as consumption limits.

Configuration and Integration

The meter is configured and parameterized using the ETS (Engineering Tool Software) software. The configuration includes setting a PIN to prevent unauthorized resetting of consumption values. In addition, you can use the limit profile to manage consumer alarms.

Installation

The meter is installed using two fixing screws on a wall. If the bus voltage recurs, the outputs resume their current values and the ETS parameter settings are saved.
