The KNX PS640 IP power supply combines the centralized functions of a KNX bus line: power supply with choke, IP router and IP interface.

The IP router in the devices enables the transmission of frames between different lines via LAN (IP) as a fast backbone (routing). The device also has the function of a line coupler. In parallel, the device can be used as an interface for bus access via IP. In this way, the KNX system can be configured and supervised from any PC in the LAN (tunneling). Access via KNX smartphone app is also possible. The device works according to KNXnet/IP specifications using core, device management, tunneling and routing. The router has a filter table and can save up to 150 frames.
