ZENNIO ZRFMC868 KNX-RF coupler (868 MHz)

The ZENNIO ZRFMC868 is a KNX TP/RF media coupler designed for interconnecting twisted-pair KNX lines and 868 MHz KNX wireless networks. This device is ideal for integrating home and industrial automation systems, offering an efficient and reliable solution for managing data traffic between different networks.

Mode of Use

The ZRFMC868 can be used both as a line coupler (to couple an RF line to a main line) and as an area coupler (to couple a main line to an area line or backbone).

Traffic Configuration

• Traffic of physical telegrams: setting the behavior of the coupler with regard to telegrams destined for physical addresses (Normal Filter, Route All, Block All).
• Group telegram traffic: setting device behavior with regard to telegrams destined for group addresses (Normal Filter, Route All, Block All).
• Transmission power: adjustment on three levels (Maximum, Average, Minimum) according to the needs of the installation.
• Configuration via TP and RF or TP only: possibility to perform ETS downloads through the coupler both via TP and RF or exclusively via TP.

Installation and Programming

The device has a programming/factory reset button. A short press on the button activates the programming mode, indicated by a solid red LED. By holding down the button while connecting to the bus, the device enters safe mode, indicated by a blinking red LED. If the device is already in safe mode and the button is held down for more than 10 seconds, a factory reset is performed, restoring the factory state and the initial individual address (15.15.0).
