Linear thermal detectors, thanks to their performance, reliability, ease of use and low costs, are suitable for any type of installation where fire detection through temperature control is required. Linear thermal detectors can also be installed in areas with a danger of explosion (classified areas), subject to the use of suitable devices capable of limiting the supply energy (e.g. intrinsic safety barriers). The use of linear thermal detectors is provided for in the relevant regulations.
