Cooper LP800KIT Circuit Tester Kit The loop tester kit (LP800KIT) is a hardware/software combination that can be used to test, commission and find faults in a loop of up to 200 intelligent addressable devices (sensors, sirens, auxiliary devices) without having to connect the loop to Eaton's central addressable smart loop. The loop tester is connected between the loop and the PC. It allows the technician to quickly identify and locate any loop device that is operating outside its operating conditions by varying the alarm threshold of any loop device (alarm, early warning and fault). The Loop tester hardware requires a free serial port on the PC, internet or via USB extension, a mains power supply and a direct connection to the device loop. Key features: Pre-addressing: identifies all field devices and determines their address and device type. Analog values: Constantly display in real time the analog value of all the devices in the loop to determine their status. LED test: this command activates the LED of any input (sensors/call buttons) and controls the outputs of the sirens and output modules. Device settings: The analog values of all devices can be interpreted according to ranges that can be set and modified by the user (OK, early warning, fire). Event log: You can store a history of events from the date the application was launched. Soft addressing: automatically assigns a new and potentially different address to each device found on the loop.
