Each button in the ENEA series is identified by a unique serial number assigned at the time of manufacture and therefore does not require the use of any address programmer. The serial number is indicated on the device label and on two removable labels that can be placed on the floor plan and on the mounting base. Once the loop wiring has been completed, through the EDRV1000 device or the control center and thanks to the revolutionary LOOP MAP technology, all connected devices are automatically recognized, the wiring is reconstructed and shown in graphic form, reporting the actual order of connection of the devices, the “T” junctions and all the physical characteristics of the Loop. The exact topology of the plant is thus reconstructed, obtaining an interactive map that simplifies and speeds up troubleshooting and system maintenance operations. Thanks to serial self-addressing, developed by INIM Electronics, it is possible to expand the system, previously installed, without having to reprogram the entire system, keeping the specificities of the LoopMap technology unchanged, as the new device will be assigned the first free logical ID correctly positioned within the interactive map. Self-addressing is very effective and eliminates some typical problems of manual addressing: waste of time due to rotary/ dipswitch addressing, malfunctions caused by the device's dual address or lack of addressing, useless consumption of address cards as a result of incorrect addressing. The LoopMap technology makes the self-addressing procedure safer and allows a faster fault search, facilitates the expansion or modification of the plant, ensuring greater flexibility and low costs. Fixed manual fire warning systems are used to integrate automatic fire detection as prescribed by current regulations. In each zone, a number of manual warning buttons must be installed such that at least one of them can be reached from any part of the zone itself with a path not exceeding 30 m for activities with low and medium fire risk and 15 m in the case of environments with a high fire risk. The alarm is activated by pressing the front panel, while the reset is carried out by means of a special key. The analysis of the operating state is carried out by the button that transmits finished messages to the control unit.
