The sophisticated algorithm implemented inside analyzes both the amount of smoke detected by the chamber and the changes in the ambient temperature perceived by the thermistor, ensuring a quick and effective response even in the case of fire principles characterized by a low emission of visible smoke.
The V200 is an analog addressed detector
that combines an optical
smoke detector (based on the Tyndall effect) and a temperature detector.
The combination
of the two technologies allows the device
to reveal those principles of fire to which
normal smoke detectors are not sensitive
(e.g. outbreaks with flames but low smoke emission).
The particular
design of the
sampling chamber and the
labyrinth that allows air
flow to access it guarantee
high
immunity to dirt
present in the environment and
ensure a long period
of optimal operation
between two subsequent maintenance.
The detector is
equipped with a short circuit isolator
capable of isolating a possible short circuit on the Loop.
The three-color LED placed in the center of the
detector ensures 360° visibility and is
able to signal an alarm condition
(red), a fault or an opening of the isolator
(yellow). In addition, the LED can be activated
manually from the control panel (green) to
facilitate the location of the device. The
detector has an output for controlling
an optional remote signaling LED
(FI100). The sensitivity of the detector can
be set directly from the control panel,
bringing a magnet closer to the side of the
device activates the alarm in order
to perform a functional test of the device and its wiring
