This new feature makes access control smarter and business communication even smoother. Now, you can manage intercom calls, unlock doors remotely, and communicate with 2N devices directly from the Teams platform.

How does it work?
Thanks to the Microsoft SIP Gateway, 2N devices can connect natively to Teams. This integration allows users to:

• Manage intercom calls: Answer calls from 2N intercoms directly in the Teams app on desktops, mobile devices, or compatible desk phones.

• Unlock doors remotely: Use the Teams dial pad to open doors without additional hardware.

• Dial 2N devices: Initiate calls to 2N devices directly from the Teams interface.

No additional hardware, no complications
There’s no need for third-party software or hardware, such as Session Border Controllers: the integration is entirely native. This means the system can be implemented simply and cost-effectively.

Certified, secure, and flexible
The integration is certified by Microsoft and supports audio-only calls within Teams. Additionally, it is compatible with Teams Call Queues, allowing intercom calls to be routed to user groups with flexible ringing strategies.

This is not just one-way communication: Teams users can also initiate calls to 2N devices directly from the Teams application.

Compatibility and requirements
This integration is available on a wide range of 2N products, including:

• 2N IP Intercoms: IP Style, IP Verso 2.0, IP Force, IP Safety, IP Solo, IP One, and others.

• Indoor stations: Indoor View, Indoor View WiFi, Indoor Compact, Indoor Talk, Clip, IP Phone D7A.

• SIP Audio and Elevator devices: SIP Speaker, SIP Speaker Horn, LiftIP 2.0, Sentrio.

To activate the integration, you need:

• A 2N OS version 2.46.1 or higher.

• A Microsoft Teams license for each intercom device or SIP Audio product.

All other devices in the 2N ecosystem connect without requiring additional licenses.
