Apromix (Benincà Group): smart access control with Essentia, Leader Mini and Teka Light 2

Apromix is the Benincà Group brand dedicated to access control: it designs and manufactures control units, RFID readers and systems for the smart management of gates, keys and identification. An "all in one" approach — no external servers to configure, built-in web-based management, compatibility with the most common standards — designed to cut installation and configuration time on site, across industrial, collective, residential and hospitality environments.

In this article we go into the technical detail of three products from the Apromix line: the Essentia RFID reader, the Leader Mini access control unit and the Teka Light 2 cabinet for computerized key management.

Essentia: the RFID reader that boosts security

Essentia automatically reads the UID together with a password-protected block for MIFARE Classic tags: passwords are stored in the terminal and never transmitted to the master — a security requirement often specified in tenders.

Leader Mini: the all-in-one access control unit

Leader Mini integrates the database, operating logic and user interface into a single unit for the complete management of one gate, pedestrian or vehicular.

Why offer it: a single PoE network point for cabling and power, remote management and updates: less travel for maintenance and configuration, a strong argument on scheduled maintenance contracts.

Teka Light 2: computerized key management

Teka Light 2 digitizes the management of mechanical keys for vehicles or rooms (server rooms, equipment storage and similar), transparently applying access control rules for the end user.
