Last September 2024, MT Distribuzione was honored during the XV edition of the KNX Awards, a landmark event for innovation in building automation and smart homes. With our project "Technology, Innovation, and Sustainability: The Core of BTRADE26", we won first place in the Sustainability category and third place in the KNX People’s Choice Award, a special recognition granted by the global KNX community's votes.

The awards ceremony, followed online by thousands of viewers, celebrated the most visionary and innovative projects in the sector. It was an extraordinary occasion that recognized our commitment to sustainability and technological innovation.

Our satisfaction grew further when the BTRADE26 project was featured in the official KNX Journal 2025, an internationally renowned publication. The magazine provided an in-depth description of how our project represents excellence in technological integration and environmental sustainability.

The Journal reads:

"The primary goal of the project was to construct MT Distribuzione’s new headquarters with a strong focus on minimizing environmental impact and ensuring sustainability, in compliance with current regulations. As distributors of smart home technology, one of the objectives was to showcase the benefits of KNX technology to clients. Thanks to the integration of diverse systems and the use of automated scenarios, human intervention was reduced to a minimum."

Among the project's standout features are:

• Air recirculation systems to control CO2 levels and volatile organic compounds, ensuring a healthier indoor environment.

• Sustainability, health, and environmental impact certification, achieved through evaluation tools like Itaca.

• Automated management of lighting, shading, and temperature regulation, optimizing comfort and energy efficiency.

• Integration of advanced technological protocols such as KNX, Modbus, DALI, DMX, and security systems for complete automation.
