Intelligent Communication Between Guests and Staff

The core of the solution consists of two coordinated devices:

• KNX eTR DND/MUR Switch – installed inside the guest room

• KNX eTR DND/MUR Signal/Bell – installed outside the room, in the corridor

The switch allows guests to easily select their desired service status:

• Do Not Disturb

• Make Up Room

The glass touch surface ensures intuitive operation and a premium look consistent with high-end environments. The selected status is transmitted via the KNX bus and displayed on the corridor unit, allowing staff to check room requests in real time.

The external device also integrates a doorbell function, combining status indication and guest signaling in a single unit.

Two Devices, One KNX Ecosystem

Both products are part of the eTR series and are available with white or black glass fronts, perfectly matching:

• KNX push buttons from the same series

• room controllers

• other eTR control modules

In addition to the DND/MUR functions, the devices include further technical features that expand design possibilities:

• integrated temperature sensor

• 2 inputs for binary contacts or temperature sensors

• configurable logic functions (AND/OR)
