Prime 5.00 with INIM CoreSync | Intrusion detection and video surveillance become a single system

The world of professional security is changing shape: simply placing different technologies side by side is no longer enough — they need to communicate with each other and work as a single organism. This is exactly the need behind CoreSync, the new feature introduced by Inim with the update to version 5.00 of the Prime and PrimeX intrusion detection platforms, available through the Prime/STUDIO software.

The heart of the innovation: from video event to system event

With CoreSync, Inim's InVista NVR can be added in Prime/STUDIO just like any other device on the alarm system. The video analytics rules already configured on the NVR are converted into AI video zones, which the Prime or PrimeX control panel can manage exactly like traditional zones.

This is where the real step forward lies: a video event is no longer confined to the world of video surveillance, but becomes part of the system's own logic, able to take part in conditions, confirmations, local activations and notifications alongside signals from traditional sensors.

Key features include:

• Direct integration between control panels and InVista NVRs

• Programmable AND logic between physical zones and AI video zones

• Up to 200 AI video zones per installation, without using the panel's physical zones

• Video verification and local actions , triggering outputs, notifications, snapshots and video events

• Advanced InVista management , including license plate recognition, thermal analysis and scenarios with IP speakers

An update that involves the whole ecosystem

Prime 5.00 is not just an added feature — it's an update that improves the entire workflow, bringing three levels of the same ecosystem together:

• Prime/STUDIO, for the installer's programming

• InimTech Security , for day-to-day fieldwork

• Inim Home , for the end user's everyday control

InimTech Security now includes a new Monitoring menu, a single entry point for maintenance, walktest and real-time fault display. Maintenance can be requested for a set duration (1 hour, 2 hours, or indefinite) and must be authorized by the user through Inim Home, with sirens disabled for the entire duration of the intervention. Walktest, meanwhile, allows zone response to be checked in real time, making testing faster and easier to document.

Inim Home also becomes more transparent: end users can clearly see the status of CoreSync, ongoing maintenance requests, and zone status updated in real time, with no need for manual refreshing.

Worth noting too is the new feature on the MyInim portal, which now allows remote configuration of an InVista NVR: the installer's access always requires explicit user approval via a notification on Inim Home, to protect user privacy.

The underlying message is clear: not simply placing intrusion detection and video surveillance side by side, but a single system where sensors, video analytics, outputs, notifications, software and apps all share the same logic. For installers, this means being able to offer truly integrated solutions, with more efficient design, more reliable commissioning, and more proactive management of their installed base.
