O=13.8Vdc 0.5A linear battery charger

It is suitable for the backup charge of lead acid batteries. The charge takes place at a constant voltage and a limited current. Thanks to the automatic deactivation, the battery can remain permanently charged. The chargers in this series are equipped with a floating charging algorithm. With this type of charge, it is possible to make the most of the battery capacity, significantly reducing the damage caused by an incorrect charge. This makes it suitable for lead acid battery charging. For a correct use of the charger, it is recommended to carry out the charging cycle with a current equal to about 1/10 of the nominal battery current. A 12Vdc 24Ah battery, for example, should be charged with a current of about 2.4A.
