Linear optical smoke detector: detector with trans-reflective technology equipped with a motorized head that can align itself during start-up and continuously correct its position despite any movement of the building. In addition, thanks to the control unit, it is possible to control these operations from the ground. The system includes a motorized head containing an infrared transmitter/receiver, a ground control unit and reflectors. Smoke contamination is revealed by the analysis of the infrared ray returning from the reflector with the possibility of recording a fire condition at a preliminary level. On the ground, the control unit is used for adjustment operations. The standard system has a coverage range of up to 5 to 70m, but two additional roof extension kits are also available: from 70 to 140m using 4 reflectors, and from 140 to 160m with 9 reflectors.
