Prevention of false alarms with self-diagnosis
All Aritech 700 series optical smoke detectors constantly monitor their sensitivity and operating status. Every day, possible operating conditions are compensated in order to keep the sensitivity level of the detector constant within the limits set by the EN54 standards.
Every day, a verification process is implemented that includes a complete diagnostic dynamic test of both the sensitivity of the optical camera and of the internal electronics. Sensitivity test function and simplified maintenance
The photoelectric optical detector allows a test function that can be activated locally through the use of a magnet placed on the test point. This procedure activates the self-diagnostic function that provides a visual indication through the dedicated yellow LED on the operating status of the detector. This test function allows the monitoring of the level of contamination present in the optical chamber

Interchangeable optical chamber
The optical camera can be easily removed from the detector for replacement or cleaning locally and without special equipment. Access to the room is allowed with the removal of the detector cover. When power is restored, the detector performs a self-calibration to return to the original operating state without the need for further intervention

The right detector in the right place
To ensure fast detection in the presence of different types of fires, a multi-criteria detector with an optical and thermal sensor is also available in the range. The interaction between the two phenomena guarantees rapid detection both with bursts and at full flame.
All bases are equipped with an anti-removal device necessary to increase the level of safety of the system. The base also has an IN and OUT short circuit device that can open the connection with the inserted detector and can be manually restored when the detector is removed. This functionality ensures that the connection line is checked before installing the detector on the base
