8-RELAY OPTIONAL BOARD FOR 8-ZONE CONV. CONTROL UNIT

Cooper Bi-Wire 8 Relay Optional Card BWOB8Z The Eaton BiWire Ultra option is an additional daughter card that provides outputs to fire protection equipment (FPE), fire alarm routing equipment (FRE), and zone relays. The FRE output is designed to be activated during a fire event and is connected to telephone dialers and/or building management systems — the output complies with EN54-2. The FPR output is designed to be activated during a fire event and when connected to an external device that operates the door opening mechanism, fire screens, sprinkler system and gas release systems. The zone relay contacts are voltage-free and do not provide any voltage. Relays can be selected to be set to C/NO or C/NC. Zone relays are designed to follow the fire condition of the associated zone circuits on the main board.
